Environmental management system
1. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must comply with environmental laws and regulations of each country in which it conducts business. All environmental-related permits required for business operation must be obtained and maintained.
2. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must operate an environmental management system (Note 1) consisting of organization, plan, procedure, performance inspection, etc. to mitigate the environmental impact of business operations.
Note1) The ISO14001 standard is an international standard for environmental management systems (EMS) established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) to encourage continuous environmental performance improvement throughout the entire process of corporate activities. It verifies whether environmental management is being performed in compliance with the standard. Can be certified through a 3rd party agency
Greenhouse gas management
1. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must establish a system to measure energy usage and greenhouse gas emissions.
2. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must strive to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
3. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must manage and establish LCA (Life Cycle Assessment).
Water resources management
1. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must establish a system to measure water resource usage and wastewater discharge.
2. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must strive to reduce water resource use and increase recycling.
3. Discharged water pollutants must be managed in accordance with legal standards or higher internal standards.
Air management system
1. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must establish a system to measure air pollutant emissions.
2. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must minimize air pollutant emissions through appropriate methods.
3. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must establish internal standards for air pollutants that are legal or higher.
Recycling Resource and Waste Management
1. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must establish a system to measure waste emissions.
2. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must minimize the discharge of waste to landfill and incineration through appropriate methods.
3. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. should expand waste reuse and recycling and try to recover discarded raw materials and parts.
4. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must consider the entire life cycle of the products it produces and strive to minimize the amount of residue that has an environmental impact when landfilling or incinerating waste.
Chemical Management
1. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must strive to safely manage the transportation, storage, use, and disposal of chemicals handled in the course of business operations.
2. Information that can identify the risks and hazards of chemical substances handled must be displayed or disclosed.
3. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must make efforts to check whether the raw materials and parts it procures, produces, sells, and distributes contain substances (Note 1) harmful to the human body or the environment.

Chemical Management
1. Youngshin Precision Co., Ltd. must strive to safely manage the transportation, storage, use, and disposal of chemicals handled in the course of business operations.
Information that can identify the risks and hazards of chemical substances handled must be displayed or disclosed.
2. Youngshin Precision Co., Ltd. must make efforts to check whether the raw materials and parts it procures, produces, sells, and distributes contain substances (Note 1) harmful to the human body or the environment.

Animal welfare
1. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must comply with Article 23 (Principles of Animal Testing) of the Animal Protection Act on Animal Welfare.
2. Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. respects the five freedoms of animals set by the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH).

Protect biodiversity and ban deforestation
1. In order to preserve, restore and expand the biodiversity of the local community, Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. must measure the impact and dependence of business activities on biodiversity and strive to establish and implement strategies and action plans to prevent, reduce and offset negative impacts.
2. In order to protect the forests of the local community, Korea Precision Steel Ball Co., Ltd. establishes a procedure to check the list of potential deforestation due to business activities and takes appropriate action when the status of deforestation is confirmed or the risk of deforestation is recognized. Efforts must be made to establish a response system.
